I am Matthew Anderson, originally from Vineland, New Jersey. I spent most of my childhood with my grandmother, tending to her farm and garden, subsequently developing a strong affinity for the same. Presently, I reside in Orlando, Florida, and thoroughly enjoy its fast-paced atmosphere, being surrounded by Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. Upon graduating from high school, I attended Rider University, obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminology, with a minor in English. Soon after, I attended the top Criminology Program in the country at Florida State University, earning my master’s degree in Criminology, with a focus on police reform.

Throughout my college tenure, I worked within the service industry to help defray college expenses. I loved interacting with different people daily, hearing their stories and what made them unique. As fate would have it, I served a table of realtors one day, and our conversation led me to contemplate a career in real estate. I treasure every connection I make, always learning something new, and ultimately, I decided my biggest impact would be made in a field as dynamic as real estate. After making it a top priority, I subsequently became a licensed realtor in New Jersey, and Florida. Currently, I am a team member of the Ben Laube Homes team brokered by eXp Realty, LLC.

In addition to my love for real estate, I enjoy staying active. You can often find me at the gym, or participating in outdoor activities, such as hiking, kayaking, or camping. As someone who enjoys learning about different cultures and communities, I travel as much as I can. I have been to 23 countries, with one of my most memorable experiences being teaching English at various schools in Thailand for one (1) year. Moreover, I also had the opportunity to study Criminology for six (6) months in Australia. During my travel, and time spent overseas, it reinforced my love for meeting new people, and embracing numerous cultures all over the world.
