I am Corey Evans. Originally, I am from a small town in the farming country of Southern Michigan. In 2011, I decided to explore more of the United States, eventually landing in Central Florida where I spent roughly 7 years in the hospitality sector. Ultimately, I found myself working for companies such as Disney and Marriott, where the opportunity to use my skills in relating to people took center stage and I was able to help people in a way I was never able to before.
I always had a passion for helping others and making a difference in the world, in part due to the teachings my mother and grandmother instilled in me from an early age. I consistently grew within the hospitality sector after recognizing the impact the quality of service I provided positively impacted the experience of others. In 2018, I had the honor of being an opening team member for the Gaylord Rockies in Denver, Colorado. Throughout my tenure there, I continued to hone my customer service skills while simultaneously providing a once in a lifetime experience to each guest we had.
After reaching what I believed to be my peak in hospitality, I actively started seeking other fields where I could utilize the skills learned during my hospitality career. One day, after confiding in a friend who was within the real estate space, the idea was birthed that I could continue making a difference in people’s lives by carving a lane for myself as a real estate agent. I always had a fascination with the design and architecture of houses, and coupled with my desire to help others, I took the leap and made the career change. I found myself moving back to Davenport, Florida, and joined eXp Realty.
I love living in Davenport, especially with its proximity to so much. I am close to both Disney and Orlando, plus, with the access to I4 I can easily drive to Tampa (another area that I enjoy) as well. Davenport has also consistently grown over the last 4 years I was gone and has a wider variety of amazing things to do. I firmly believe in the next few years Davenport and Championsgate will become one of the most sought-after places to live in Central Florida.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling, kayaking, hiking, or partaking in the many entertainment options that the great city of Orlando has to offer. However, nothing excites me more than being able to go back home to Michigan and spend some quality time with my amazing family.
