Celebration - New Construction
The inception of Celebration came about by way of the Walt Disney Company in the fall of 1996. This genius-designed community was modeled primarily after historical American small towns. It encapsulates a pre-1940s southern town, with a mixture of French, Mediterranean, Victorian, Craftsman, Classical and Coastal styles. Presently, the estimated population of Celebration is over 9,000 residents.
Within Celebration are several villages, containing residential homes, townhomes, condos, along with many commercial and community resources. The first villages developed in Celebration were Celebration Main Village, West Village and Lake Evalyn. Over time, the development of North Village, South Village, East Village, Roseville Corner and Artisan Park was completed. The latest expansion in Celebration is Spring Lake at Celebration, and in 2021 will be Island Village curated through Mattamy Homes.
Each village is special because they possess their own pools, parks, and playgrounds. Most of the communities are interconnected via walking and biking trails, making it very convenient to visit the neighboring villages. And as a part of the town’s planning, it is home to a championship golf course, innovative schools, a state-of-the-art hospital with a fitness center, many churches, hotels, and commercial office districts.
Downtown Celebration is very scenic, compact, and a joy to traverse. Downtown Celebration is always buzzing with activity and there are typically many planned annual and weekly events. Celebration also has many shopping and dining possibilities, giving residents and visitors many choices to occupy their time. Another main standout of the community is the variety of home styles to choose from. The community features housing options from grand estate-style homes, single family homes and so much more. Come experience what it feels like to be a part of this slice of history and explore the community of Celebration, today!
